edge of creation :: a multi-user domain homepage

elcome to the Edge of Creation. We are a Smaug based MUD with a unique history and a large number of original areas, including the main city of the land and the newbie academy. We have an extensive range of races and classes of all alignments, with guilds for each class and many orders for players to join. There are 100 player levels, and we offer a choice between single classing with specialized subclasses at level 20 or multiclassing with up to three classes. We are very newbie friendly, but offer much for experienced players, as well. The IMMS are friendly and are always open to questions and suggestions. Roleplaying is encouraged and rewarded.

Yes, yes. It's been a long while since an update was done. Kelsena has been kind enough to start an updated directions page. You can also access it from the Players section of the website.

I've added a new MUD client to the Utilities page. It's called Cantrip. It's a Mac based MUD client. All you Mac users, check it out!

The ports have been merged! That's right. No more main port and pkport. We've moved PK back to the main port. Nothing has changed as far as peaceful players are concerned, they still cannot fight player vs. player. The only main thing that's changed is deadlies now will play on 5665. Any characters created on 5634 have not been transfered over, you'll have to start over again.

I've added a new vote link to the top right corner of the site. It's not on all pages yet, just on the main page. Feel free to click on it to vote for us. Just like the link above it these sites tally votes each day and allow you to click on them once per day. Feel free to vote every day if you like EoC. Might help us get a bit more exposure and possibly some new blood around.

I've finally converted the News Archives section to the new website format. Feel free to peruse the old files and see what was news in the past. Some of the links might not work on the news posts, but that's to be expected. Still some good stuff in there.
