ENCHANTED FOREST

Eons before the founding of Portal City, the lands to the north were a vast wilderness of magical creatures who had no fear of humanity. As humans, elves, dwarves, halflings and other beings increased in numbers, there was no safe place for rare and magical creatures such as Unicorns and Centaurs to live without fear of being hunted and exterminated. Fortunately, a small group of druidic Elves created an Enchanted Forest, magically hidden from explorers, which would provide permanent shelter from outsiders and their ways. Time itself has stopped in the Enchanted Forest, and some say it doesn't really exist at all, but is a bit of lore.
